World Labyrinth Day is Saturday, May 4th, 2024. Circles in the Sand is all about labyrinth walking. We would be on the sand, but the tides and the weather are not in our favor this year.
World Labyrinth Day is an international event held on the first Saturday of May, sponsored by The Labyrinth Society in collaboration with partner organizations including the Australian Labyrinth Network, Legacy Labyrinth Project, and Veriditas. Many participants will “Walk as One at 1” by walking a labyrinth at 1:00 PM local time to create a rolling wave of peaceful energy passing from one time zone to the next around the globe.
Our indoor labyrinth walk will be at The Overlook at The Inn at Face Rock (Best Western), 3225 Beach Loop Dr, Bandon, Oregon. The doors open at 12:30 PM. There will be a short introduction at about 12:50, and the labyrinth will be available to walk between 1-2 PM. The Santa Rose labyrinth is set up, infusing The Overlook with peaceful, joyful vibes. It generally takes about 10-15 minutes to walk the labyrinth. Whether you are familiar with labyrinths or new to the experience, all are welcome to this free event. More information about labyrinths and finger labyrinths will be available.
