We’re thrilled to be back on the sand for four days in a row with a new series of Circles in the Sand labyrinth walks beginning Thursday, June 12, and running through Sunday, June 15—which also happens to be Father’s Day. Whether you're a returning walker or new to the experience, we invite you to join us for a peaceful, art-filled morning by the sea.

Walk Times for This Series:

  • Thursday, June 12 – Walk begins at 8:00 AM

  • Friday, June 13 – Walk begins at 9:00 AM

  • Saturday, June 14 – Walk begins at 9:00 AM

  • Sunday, June 15 (Father’s Day) – Walk begins at 10:00 AM

We recommend arriving at least ten minutes early so you have time to settle in and enjoy the full experience.

Getting There

To make your visit easy and enjoyable, ride the free shuttle from the Bandon Community Center at 1200 11th St. SW. Parking at Face Rock Wayside can be very limited, especially on weekends, so skip the stress and take the shuttle—it’s convenient and runs frequently.

Before the Walk

Each morning starts with a short educational talk by a representative from Oregon Fish and Wildlife, who shares fascinating insights about the local wildlife you may see along the beach. From seal pups and nesting seabirds to the reasons dogs must be leashed and why drones are not allowed. It’s an introduction to this beautiful stretch of Oregon coastline.

Then, Denny Dyke, the visionary behind Circles in the Sand, gives a brief welcome and shares a few words about the Circles vibe—a message grounded in love, intention, and connection to nature. When he is done, the path is open and the labyrinth walk begins.

A Special Note for Father’s Day

What better way to celebrate Father’s Day than with a serene morning walk in the sand? Bring the dads in your life for a meaningful and meditative start to the day.

We look forward to seeing you on the beach—come walk the path, take in the views, and be a part of something beautiful.

See you on the sand.
