Three Days of Smiles and Sand: Wrapping Up the May 2025 Series

Our latest Circles in the Sand series came to a close today, and what a beautiful series it was. Although the rain washed out Thursday, we had three wonderful days on the beach filled with sunshine, creativity, and the joy of seeing so many smiling faces walking the labyrinths.

A heartfelt thank you to all of the volunteers who helped us rake—your time and energy make these circles possible. We also appreciate everyone who came to walk and share in the experience.

One of the highlights of this series was the reopening of the parking lot. While it didn’t change access to the beach itself, the new striped parking spots, handicap-accessible sidewalks and bathrooms, and the restored cliff access made a big difference. It was wonderful to see the labyrinths from the cliff again, with an improved view for everyone.
