As the sun rises on the final labyrinths of this season, we find ourselves walking in deep gratitude—for the beauty, peace, and wonder that Circles in the Sand has brought into so many lives. At the heart of this magic is Denny Dyke, whose vision gave life to the spiraling paths that now stretch across the sand and into the hearts of thousands.

Denny’s Vision: What began as a personal meditation evolved into a global invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and walk with intention. Denny's early labyrinths were simple, soulful gestures drawn at low tide. Over time, they became something extraordinary—a shared experience of connection, healing, and joy.

A Message of Love: At the core of Denny’s vision has always been love. Each labyrinth drawn in the sand is a quiet act of devotion—an offering to strangers, to the sea, to the spirit of togetherness. His work reminds us that the most powerful thing we can bring into the world is love, and to walk the path with that love in our hearts.

Not an Ending, but a Pivot: While Denny will be stepping away from the sand for most of next summer, he is far from stepping away from Circles in the Sand. Instead, he’s shifting his focus to leading labyrinth workshops off the sand—sharing his wisdom, creativity, and love for the labyrinth in new ways. His work will continue to inspire as we expand our reach beyond the shoreline.

The Team That Evolved: One of Denny’s greatest gifts has been nurturing a team that now carries the vision forward. Over the years, he welcomed others into the process, building a family of creatives, rakers, organizers, and volunteers. That collaborative spirit lives on.

Looking Forward: As Denny pivots to this next chapter, Circles in the Sand enters a new phase—still rooted in his vision, still drawn with love. James Ferreria and I, Bethe Patrick, are honored to continue the journey, supported by the incredible team Denny helped shape.

We are walking forward with full hearts, grateful for Denny’s presence, and inspired by what he’s shared with us. The path continues, shaped by the tides—and by the legacy of a man who drew not only labyrinths, but love into the world.

See you on the sand for our final two days of the 2025 summer season, Monday, August 11, and Tuesday, August 12, starting at 9 AM.
