Our May Draw Series Comes to a Close

Posted May 20, 2026

The tide has come and gone, and with it, another beautiful chapter of Circles in the Sand has drawn to a close. Our three-day draw series wrapped up on May 20th, and what a series it was.

Over those three days, the beach came alive in the most wonderful way. Rakes moved through the sand with intention and care, lines curved and spiraled into labyrinths, and intricate patterns emerged on what was a blank shoreline.

Thank You, From the Bottom of Our Hearts

To everyone who came down to the beach and picked up a rake: thank you. Whether you were a first-timer trying to find your footing on the sand or a returning friend who already knows the rhythm of the work, your presence made these three days something truly special.

We met some wonderful folks this weekend. Conversations flowed as freely as the ocean breeze. We talked about art, about stillness, about what it means to make something beautiful that the tide will eventually take back. There is something humbling and freeing about that, and we felt it deeply across all three days.

You showed up. You raked. You made the work shine.

A Glimpse at What We Created

Each day brought its own energy and its own design.

Team member James captured this short timelapse of the creation of today's labyrinth, check it out.
