The beach beckons once again as we begin the eleventh season of Circles in the Sand today, Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
Though the parking lot at Face Rock Wayside is currently under construction, the path to the sand remains open. We'll be there, creating the first labyrinth of the season, ready to welcome walkers, wanderers, and those seeking a moment of peace by the sea.
Volunteers will gather in the early morning to rake the paths, shaping intricate designs into the sand. It's a quiet kind of magic—an invitation to slow down, to step gently, and to experience art that lives in rhythm with the tide.
Today’s walk begins at 9:00 AM. A free shuttle will run every 15 minutes between the Bandon Community Center (The Sprague Theater), 1200 11th St SW, and Face Rock Wayside. With construction underway, this is the easiest way to reach the beach and be part of the experience.
As we begin this new season, we look forward to the moments of reflection, the shared smiles, and the sense of connection that Circles in the Sand brings to our coastal community.
See you on the sand.
