Four Days Until a Four-Day Series

Be willing to be a beginner every single morning.” - Meister Eckhart

May is swiftly passing by. Our upcoming series of draws will start on May 20, 2023, and span four consecutive days. Walks will be scheduled for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at 9 AM while Tuesday's walk will start at 10 AM.

The sand is gradually refilling allowing us greater flexibility in choosing locations for our labyrinths. It may surprise you to learn that we are not always situated in the same spot at Face Rock Wayside. If you previously visited and encountered a labyrinth on the north side of Cathedral Rock, you might find us on the south side during your next visit. The beach undergoes constant changes, making it uncertain where exactly we will be located for each draw series. In our last series, we were thrilled to wind the path amidst the rocks near the sea stack known as Wizard’s Hat. This particular spot is one of our favorites because the exposed rocks add extra interest to the walk.

Don’t forget to catch a ride on the shuttle from the Bandon Community Center to the parking lot at Face Rock Wayside.

It is a thrilling time as the harbor seals begin to give birth to their pups and the coastal birds start nesting. To ensure the safety of these inhabitants, it is crucial to keep dogs should be leashed at all times and drones are not allowed. We appreciate your cooperation in protecting our coastal wildlife.

See you on the sand.
