Circles in the Sand - Draw Canceled Today

We are disappointed to announce that today’s Circles in the Sand walk (Saturday, May 17) has been canceled due to rainy weather and overly wet sand. Unfortunately, when the sand is too wet—or too dry—it doesn’t hold the rake lines well enough to create the path. Today, nature had the final say.

Although we had planned a three-day draw series, we were only able to complete two days this time around. Still, we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who came out to walk with us on Thursday and Friday.

A heartfelt thank you to all the amazing volunteers who showed up to rake alongside us and to those who helped behind the scenes—especially with the shuttle and guiding visitors to the beach through the ongoing construction. Your efforts made a real difference.

We’ll be back again May 28–31, and expecting better conditions ahead. Thank you for your continued support—we look forward to walking the path with you soon.
