Circles in the Sand - Cancelled Today Due to Rain and Wet Sand

Today’s Circles in the Sand event has been cancelled due to rain and wet sand conditions. While the rain may stop soon and the sand will start to drain, it’s just too wet right now for us to get started.

Delaying the drawing until the sand dries would put us up against the incoming high tide, so we always err on the side of caution and cancel when the conditions aren’t right for raking the sand.

We’re hoping for better weather on Friday and Saturday. Please check our website for updates and the latest schedule.

Yesterday was a beautiful day on the sand. The early morning fog made the beach feel especially ethereal. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped us rake — we appreciate your energy and support.
