Circles in the Sand: A Four-Day Series of Labyrinth Art Begins Today

A new series of Circles in the Sand walks begins this morning, Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Face Rock Wayside. For four days, the beach will feature unique labyrinths created in the sand—each one inspired by a different theme.

Here’s the walk schedule:

  • Wednesday, May 28 – 9 AM (Theme: Ocean)

  • Thursday, May 29 – 9 AM

  • Friday, May 30 – 9 AM

  • Saturday, May 31 – 10 AM

We’re also happy to share that the construction at Face Rock Wayside is complete. The parking lot and new bathrooms are now open. A big thank you to the Oregon State Parks crew and contractors for their hard work and dedication in completing this project.

There is still limited parking at Face Rock Wayside. Visitors are encouraged to ride the free shuttle, which runs every 15 minutes from the Bandon Community Center, 1200 11th Street. It's the easiest way to get to the beach without the hassle of finding a parking spot.

The weather forecast is in our favor for all four days, offering a perfect backdrop for reflection, exploration, and connection. Whether this is your first time walking the labyrinth or you’ve walked with us before, we invite you to join us.

See you at the sand.
