Celestial Mornings & Meditative Paths: Circles in the Sand Begins

ree

What a beautifully peaceful morning we shared today as we opened a three-day series of Circles in the Sand with a Celestial theme. The sky gifted us soft light, the ocean added its gentle song, and the labyrinth welcomed walkers into a space of calm reflection. Thank you to everyone who joined us on the sand this morning—your presence made it even more special.

We’re just getting started. Tomorrow, Friday, we return with a new path and theme to inspire your meditative walk. The sand path opens at 9 AM, and we’ll be back again on Saturday with a 10 AM start. Each day offers a fresh creation, inviting you to experience the labyrinth in a new way.

A note about parking: Our home beach parking lot at Face Rock Wayside is undergoing exciting upgrades. The project is right on schedule, the new restroom facilities have already been placed—plumbing is coming soon. While the parking lot remains closed, we encourage you to take advantage of the free shuttle service running from the Sprague Theater at the Bandon Community Center, 1202 11th St SW. There’s plenty of parking, and the shuttle will drop you right at the top of the path down to the stairs to the beach.

We look forward to meeting you on the sand tomorrow and Saturday—come walk, breathe, and let the rhythm of the labyrinth guide your steps.

See you on the sand.

Reading about the meditative paths and circles in the sand felt incredibly calming. There’s something special about starting the day surrounded by nature, focusing on breath and balance. It reminds me how important it is to carry that sense of serenity back home too. I’ve been creating a more mindful living space with small changes, like adjusting lighting and using a smart AC controller to keep the air clean and the temperature perfectly balanced. When the environment feels peaceful and comfortable, it’s so much easier to maintain that same centered energy throughout the day.
