"Every moment is a fresh beginning." -T.S. Eliot
Circles in the Sand started our 8th summer season by welcoming a beautiful morning. We are always so excited to get back to drawing labyrinths. Denny and James created paths that somehow magically merge into one labyrinth. Jim takes great care to trim the edges of the path. Christine and Bethe add artistic interest and then our groomers rake the sand in between the paths to make it all shine.
Thank you to everyone who walked with us on our opening day today. There were big feet, little feet, and furry feet. There were so many moments of joy, wonder, and love. One woman walked while flying a kite and one young man felt inspired to walk backward through the entire labyrinth.
Thanks again to all of our volunteer groomers - we could not do all of this without you. And, thanks to June and our support staff for helping to direct traffic in the parking lot and to our shuttle driver for joining us this season.
We would like to wish all of the mothers out there a Happy Mother's Day this Sunday!
Join us for a five-day draw series, May 18-22, 2022.
See you on the sand.
